International Code Council:
Established in 1994 to
provide the highest quality codes, standards, products, and services for all concerned with the safety and performance of the built environment. The founders of the ICC are Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc. (BOCA), International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO), and Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc. (SBCCI).
ICC-ES: Provides technical evaluations of building products, components, methods, and materials. Building regulators, contractors, specifiers, architects, engineers, and anyone else with an interest in the building industry and construction look to ICC-ES evaluation reports for evidence that products and systems meet code requirements. Current acceptance criteria for decking and guardrail material is based on AC174 or AC109. View ICC aceptance criteria.
WMEL at Washington Sate University is a building code accredited university laboratory. View scope of accreditation for WMEL, WSU.
